Closed for COVID-19 Lockdown
Dear Valued Customer
I write to you today under extremely challenging circumstances that are unequalled to those in our current history. Whilst we face uncertainty together as a nation, we can be encouraged by the words of our President Cyril Ramaphosa: “If we act together, if we act now, and if we act decisively, we will overcome this.”
In view of the imminent lockdown at midnight on Thursday 26 March 2020, the safety of our customers and staff is of paramount importance and I am writing to inform you that BRIGHTS will be temporarily closing all branches at the end of business today and reopen on Friday 17 April 2020. Please also note:
Online shopping: Our online shopping site will be closed during the lockdown period since we are unable to fulfil orders during this time.
Deliveries: Deliveries for paid materials not received to date, will unfortunately only be able to go out after the 21-day national shut down period and/or when the government advises that we may open our doors and begin trading again.
News & Updates: We will also be launching interactive DIY Q&A engagement sessions via social media – details thereof we’ll share with you and the community at large when ready to launch. So please do keep an eye out on all our digital and social media platforms for key notifications related to the brand.
Whilst these are uncertain times for us all, may the quality time spent with loved ones during lockdown offer comfort and support for you all.
We are extremely proud of and grateful to our South African government for the incredible leadership we are witnessing during these difficult and demanding times and I trust that if individually we do our part during the lockdown period, we will get through this even stronger and more united as a nation.
Be safe, stay well and take care of yourself and each other.
Orlando Luis and the BRIGHTS Hardware family
